Twin Coves is a private vacation home located on the stunning twin coves beaches near the town of Governor's Harbour on Eleuthera. The house is surrounded by beautiful tropical plantings in a grove of mature coconut trees. The nearest neighbor is half a mile away.
Twin Coves is a magical place where you can idle away the whole day on the terrace, on the beach or in the gardens. Or if you are looking for more activity, you can snorkel the reefs in front of the house, hire a guide to scuba the nearby blue holes, take a day trip up to quaint Harbour Island, go bonefishing with a local guide, or just take long walks along Eleuthera's miles of secluded sandy beaches. In the evenings you can grill fresh grouper or lobster caught on the nearby reefs or purchased from one of the local fisherman. Or head to one of the local restaurants to sample some typical Bahamian fare.
The house was built in the 1950s by Sir Roland Symonette, then Governor of the Bahamas, in one of the Islands' most stunning locations.
